Dr. Dorota Domanaski-Erdman
Dr. Domanski-Erdman is a licensed clinical psychologist in Chicago, IL providing psychotherapy to adolescent & adult patients, including families at Neuropsychological Services PC She earned her Master’s degree in psychology from the Institute of Psychology, University of Warsaw, Warsaw, Poland and her Doctoral degree in clinical psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology, Chicago, Illinois. She is multilingual and provides psychological services in Russian, Polish and English. Dr. Erdman is also on staff at Swedish Covenant Hospital’s Psychological Services and has been there for more than 10 years. Dr. Erdman has held teaching positions at Roosevelt, Northwestern, and Purdue Universities. In addition to treating general adult psychopathology, Dr. Erdman has specific training in geropsychology and applied this through her work at the Council for Jewish Elderly. Also, she has an interest in postpartum/perinatal and women’s issues.
Her interest include working with individuals and families with neurological disorders as well as other health related issues. Further interests include depression and grief /loss recovery, anxiety disorders, substance abuse, recovery when a victim of a violent crime or other traumatic event, relationship distress, coping with medical conditions, life transitions, personal growth, career changes, relationship loss, women’s issues, parenting skills, and coping with aging or ill family members.
